Homeowners Association Meeting Info

The Hawthorne Homeowners Association has a Monthly Meeting the fourth Tuesday each month, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, at the Carol Edwards Center in downtown Woodinville, 7 minutes from Hawthorne.

These are public meetings and all homeowners are encouraged to attend.

A monthly meeting maybe cancelled or rescheduled due to annual meetings, holidays or board conflict. Check the Community Calendar to confirm this months meeting!

There are two annual meetings each year. These meetings are also typically held at the Carol Edwards Center in Woodinville. The specific details on these meetings are mailed to all owners prior to the meetings.

The first is the Association Annual Meeting held in March. This is the meeting where elections are held for open positions on the board of directors. A quorum of 25% of the voting power of the association is required to have an election. If you can not attend you are encouraged to supply a signed proxy to the management company, the board or an attending neighbor.

Thes second is the Budget Ratification Meeting normally held in November. This is the meeting where the next year's proposed budget is presented and ratified by the owners. A proposed budget is considered ratified unless 51% of the voting power of the association rejects it. If you can not attend you are encouraged to supply a signed proxy to the management company, the board or an attending neighbor.
